My first words on this "blog" will be an acknowledgment that the name is probably wrong—it appears that "blog" is more often understood as something like "chatroom," with anybody who wants to contributing, and that certainly wasn't what I had in mind—I don't want to take on the administering of any such grand collective forum. This is only to be a place where I can post information and ideas from time to time.
